Before and After School Activities
When a child enrolls at Sunset Mesa, we want the whole family to feel welcome in our community. Over the course of a school year, administrators and teachers typically get to know all of the students on campus and are always available to help or talk to them if they wish. We also offer daycare between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, so that busy work schedules can be kept while students continue to enjoy after school activities.

Drama, Spanish, dance, music, chess, karate, science or computer club are only a few of the after school activities in which students may participate. Directed study--time with a teacher providing help with homework--is another afternoon option.

All the after school activities are designed to provide a safe, caring and challenging environment. At Sunset Mesa Schools, we believe that this is indeed the best way to develop quality individuals who are interested in learning and helping one another throughout life.

Annual Fourth and Fifth Grade Mountain Retreat
One of the highlights of each school year is the fall retreat. Field experts join the Sunset Mesa staff in providing team building activities and specialized science opportunities in a unique setting.
