Grades 1-3 Instructor: Julie Jackson Supply Fee: $35
Course
Code: NA
Description: Embark on an outdoor ADVENTURE

the land, the plants, the animals, the water, the air,
and the soil, all of which are connected. Children
will find that they too are connected to and can have a
powerful impact on our environment. They will ask questions
about the outdoors and then set out to answer them through
hands-on exploration, recording their findings in nature
journals. By studying their surroundings, they will
become scientists, ecologists, historians, artists, and
authors while having fun!
Description: Spend those lazy, hazy afternoons
of summer developing your technology skills. In this class,
you’ll create fantastic projects using PowerPoint,
Excel, Microsoft Word, and Publisher. Photography
techniques will be presented. Students will take
digital photographs and incorporate them into their computer
projects. Daily touch typing lessons will hone students’ keyboarding
skills. Each class will end with 45 minutes of fun
and games as students explore educational software.
Description:
Come enjoy the fun of “old fashioned” playground
and camp games! We will develop teamwork and cooperation
skills as we engage in scavenger hunts, Capture the Flag,
old-fashioned relays, Spider Soccer, Ultimate Balloon Volleyball,
Dodge ball, T.V. Tag, and much, much more! The warm,
