Our “Seed-to-Harvest” program is an “entrepreneurial” endeavor wherein the children sell a portion of the produce they grow (and products made from that produce) to parents and the surrounding community in the Garden of Tomorrow Farmers Market events. The proceeds are then donated to a local charity that deals with hunger and malnutrition in the needy. The children are helped to understand how their efforts enable them to help those in need.
