we relocated from Texas, one of our greatest concerns
was being able to provide our children a similar
education to the one that we had both received. We
were aware that New Mexico was not commended for
public education and really were not sure what to
expect from the private curriculum. After a
little research, we flew in for a 48 hour trip to
New Mexico, at which time we interviewed all of the
schools that we thought met our goals for the kids.
The administration and our son’s prospective
teacher took a lot of time to answer our questions
and alleviate our concerns during that short visit.
Today, it remains the same – open communication
between the parents and teachers is key to our continued
commitment to Sunset Mesa.Since our relocation, we
have enrolled our two younger children in the Sunset
Mesa pre-school Montessori program and we could not
be happier with our choice. Kelly and I continue
to be surprised by the advanced level of the curriculum
and the ability that Sunset Mesa has demonstrated
to keep each of our children confident, happy, and
challenged academically while helping them to grow

when our children were starting preschool. We were
new to Albuquerque and we knew from our first visit
that we had found a home-away-from-home at Sunset
Mesa. The genuine warmth of the teachers and staff

To this day, it is the atmosphere of calm on both
campuses that continues to impress us most at Sunset
